“My mother has always been an inspiration to me. She has gone through so much, physically and mentally, but has always pushed through. Looking back on my time spent with her, I can see how she loved unconditionally, and smiled through so much pain. All my dreams came true through her, and I love her with all my heart”

“My mom has encouraged me from day one to follow my dreams. She went into a career field that she wasn’t necessarily passionate for, and raised my brother and I as a single parent. She didn’t take chances to follow her own dreams, but that never stopped her from encouraging us to be ourselves and do whatever makes us happy. Imagine she wasn’t too surprised when she ended up with two very independent, free-thinking children out of the whole deal. I’ve not always followed by dreams and I’ve definitely gotten a little sidetracked along the way, but she’s always been there in the background supporting me and cheering me on. In fact, she even helped me take this picture.”

“A woman who has helped me chase my dreams is my mom. She’s quite the woman. Growing up I was told that I could do whatever I wanted, as long as I set my mind to it. When I spontaneously decided to start a wine blog, my Mom was nothing but supportive and even though she knew nothing about the wine world, she learned about it to be able to help me when I had questions. She’s been my number one fan and is always there for a dose of reality to keep me on track or some encouraging words when you just need a mom’s love.”

“My grandmother taught me to follow my dreams. She always told me to never be afraid to be different, and to fight for the things I want in life. ”

“I’ve actually been very lucky to have been surrounded by supportive women my entire life. Nevertheless, the one who stands out the most is my mom. I know all of the sacrifices that she made for me while growing up. For example, how hard she worked to make sure that I had a great life.  She doesn’t give herself enough credit, but she really taught me a lot about life and how to be a strong, independent woman. I’m not sure that I’d be the same woman I am today if it hadn’t been for the life lessons that she taught me growing up or the advice that she was always willing to give. I’m very lucky to have a mom who has supported me so much and has always been by my side!”
